Privacy Notice
Last updated: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Notice explains what personal information 4A Security & Compliance (“4A,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit this website or contact us through it, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It covers this website only. Services we perform under a signed engagement are governed by the agreement and any data protection terms for that engagement, not by this Notice.
Who is responsible for your information
4A Security & Compliance is responsible for the personal information described here. Questions about this Notice or your personal information can be sent to info@4asecurity.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site (for example, the contact or AI readiness assessment form), we collect the work email address and company name you provide, the type of inquiry you select, and anything you write in the message field. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our service providers collect standard technical information through cookies and similar technologies and through server logs, for example your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and the dates and times of your visits. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and analytics tools:
- Essential cookies set by our website platform so the site functions correctly.
- Google Analytics (provided by Google), which sets cookies to measure site traffic and usage in aggregate.
- Jetpack Stats (provided by Automattic), which produces aggregate visitor statistics.
- Akismet (provided by Automattic), which reviews information submitted through our forms, including your IP address, to detect and block spam.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Why we use your information
We use the information above to respond to your inquiry and provide the information or services you ask about; to operate, secure, and improve the website and guard against spam and abuse; and to keep records and comply with our legal obligations. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run this site and our business, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Automattic (website hosting, Jetpack Stats, and Akismet);
- Google (Google Analytics);
- Amazon Web Services (used to deliver form submissions to us by email); and
- professional advisers, and authorities where required by law.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we receive personal information from the EU, UK, or other regions, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards such as the applicable standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry submissions for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your request and to keep reasonable business records, after which we delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is retained in line with our analytics providers’ default retention periods. We keep information longer where the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California, and of states with comparable laws, have rights to know, delete, and correct their information and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights; because we do not sell or “share” personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. Residents of the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email info@4asecurity.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time the applicable law requires.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Notice from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when it last changed, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
